GMA Network, Inc. is a Filipino media company that runs on mainstream TV, radio, and international channels. Among my major contributions during my tenure in the Company's Corporate Communications department include the following:

front page/banner media exposure for the Company's top officers and key projects

quarterly events management for corporate briefings to publicize the Network's financial performance

strong liaison with section editors and print writers from top dailies

publication of Company statements and releases

Some projects I did were self-initiated without prior prodding from management. I drafted 'ambitious' communication plans with workable budget, which still were realistic, doable, and measurable. These efforts produced prominent profiling of the Company's CEO and CFO in print media.

Further, I helped colleagues enlarge their networks and sustain media relations. I also contributed in growing the database of the department's media contacts, which was used in perpetuity by staff even long after I left the organisation.
